Mindfulness techniques help children cope with life’s challenges.

We feel safe when we are connected to life: to our breathing, our bodies, to each other. When our children feel connected, safe and centered, they can engage with life and all its joys and challenges.
They can self-regulate their stress, reduce anxiety, learn more easily, develop emotional intelligence.
Teaching kids mindfulness can go a long way in helping them boost awareness and control their moods. No sessions are set in stone, the classes have to flow to cope with the needs of the child, but here are examples of some of the classes.
The Little Minds Matter course is for the child and parent/carer, where the parent learns along with their child. Skills learned can be used at home. This is a six-week course or offered via one-to-one support.
