“Thank you Mary-Jane. Tonight has taken away my fear and apprehension . . . over Hypnotherapy. I now realise it is something I have actually already had some experience of before without even realising it! Very informative evening :-)” – Tracy McNeil

“What you taught me was invaluable. I know without your help I wouldn’t be at my lowest weight for years . . . Thank you.” – Maureen Day

“Two weeks into weight loss hypnotherapy, I had to have my bloods checked. Got phone call this morning from doc to say to reduce my meds for diabeties. I am so chuffed. Can’t wait to see what happens after the six weeks. Classes are well worth it. Feeling fab.” – Mary Ivatt

“You are a miracle worker. As you know, I suffered from Agoraphobia and this was affecting every aspect of my life. I couldn’t take my child out. When I did venture out, it was my husband who had to usher me in the car, but we always had to turn back because of this limiting fear, and I couldn’t leave the house to work. After coming to see you, it only took three sessions to get me back on track after a lifetime of this condition. You have changed my life for the better. Thank you.” – Anon

“You are an amazing lady, Mary-Jane. Since seeing yourself last, I’ve being trying to totally live in a more mindful life. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but you have really inspired me.” – Kirsty Speirs

“Starting a new job after almost two years absence from work through illness was a daunting prospect for me. I was keen to get back to work but at the same time terrified. In those two years I had lost my identity. My self confidence was at an all-time low and I was fearful of failing. After an initial consultation which felt more like a ‘get to know me chat’, Mary Jane tailored a script for hypnosis for relaxation and self esteem. The EMI was another therapy used to help with my nerves and ongoing confidence building.

“My first day in my new job, I felt . . . cool and calm. It wasn’t until later in the day I realised that whilst I was nervous . . . there was no emotion behind it, I didn’t have that ‘knot’ in my stomach or red flushing in my face. My hands were steady and I felt very calm. I actually had a great first day which turned into a week and so on.

“Three weeks into my new role I had to go on a building site and inspect a building – a 13 storey block of flats to be precise. When they showed me the cage on the exterior of the building that was my transport to the top, my initial thought was ‘I can’t do that…there is no way I’m getting in that, I will fall out and die!!!!’

“Well I did go in it, and, oddly, I had that same calm feeling I had on my first day. The treatment had embedded itself. It didn’t just help with my first day nerves but continued to help me with my most challenging moments where I would never have coped in the past. I now feel like I’m returning back to my old self – but now it’s a better, more confident, calmer version. My software has been upgraded and I’m better for it.” – Cara Dougal
